GCC-Purdue is going to present the third Midwest Annual Conference, Sino-US 3.0: Foreseeing the New Era on Saturday, April 4, at Discovery Park’s Burton D. Morgan Center Room 121.
Global China Connection is a non-profit student run organization dedicated to fostering deep and trusting personal relationships among Chinese and non-Chinese university students. Among all the 89 chapters in the world, GCC-Purdue has been constantly increasing its influence on campus and holding various events to help Chinese and non-Chinese students to communicate with each other. Under the goal of building the bridge between Chinese students and U.S. mainstream cultures, and with the idea to help students to become future world leaders, GCC-Purdue has held two Midwest Annual Conference in 2013 and 2014, whose themes were Moving the World Forward and Shaping the Future Leader. Both conferences attracted many elites and guests from academia and different industries to discuss major topics regarding the trends of Sino-U.S. trading, China’s future need of overseas intelligence returning, global intellectual property development, and how to become future leaders. As usual, this year GCC-Purdue will bring the 2015 Midwest Annual Conference with the theme of Foreseeing the New Era. There will be a series of speeches and panel discussions about How to Master the Global Marketplace, Technology Innovation and Vision, and Entrepreneurship.
